ALI LARTERLoved since: 2000 Fave performance: Final Destination; Heroes Ali is a very interesting, intelligent and grounded woman. She was one of Young Hollywood's most recognizable faces during the YH craze of 1998-2002 and then quit the business for a while, because she didn't like the person she had become. That took a lot of guts. And then she made a kick-ass comeback with Heroes after Hollywood rejected her for walking out. You have to respect her for that. Kind hearted, generous, charming, stylish and animated.. I think we should all strive to be a bit more like her. 
EVA MENDESLoved since: 2000 Fave performance: Urban Legends: Final Cut; Hitch Eva, what can I say? She has spunk. Definitely smarter than people give her credit for. Opinionated. And at the same time, the sexiest woman on the list. She has a great screen presence and is very underrated. I always enjoy watching her onscreen and I hope to see her in more better quality films in the future. 
KATHERINE HEIGLLoved since: 2000 Fave performance: Grey's Anatomy; Knocked Up Katie seems like a fun person to hang out with. She's outspoken, intelligent and not afraid to do her own thing. She stood up for TR Knight, and didn't care what anyone would think. That's pretty admirable. I've liked Katie for a long time and I'm happy she's finally getting the recognition she deserves with Grey's Anatomy and Knocked Up. 
MAGGIE GYLLENHAALLoved since: 2005 Fave performance: Happy Endings, World Trade Center Maggie is arguably the best actress of the bunch, but she remains underrated despite impressive performances in independent movies like Secretary, Happy Endings, and Sherrybaby. It's sad that the masses have yet to discover her as more than Jake's sister. She's also in the possession of an amazing voice. 
MARY ELIZABETH WINSTEADLoved since: 2006 Fave performance: Final Destination 3, Death Proof I have such a girl crush on Mary. She has a very likeable quality I can't quite put my finger on. And I really hope that's really her singing in Death Proof, because she sounded amazing. I love that she's a homebody. She's young, but has no need to be a wild child and go out clubbing like certain other starlets. 
MELISSA GEORGELoved since: 2009 Fave performance: 30 Days of Night Gorgeous George! I can't really explain her addition to this list. I've never been impressed by her acting, but then again, I haven't seen her Golden Globe nominated performance on In Treatment. I don't really know anything about her, so it's not a personality thing. But damn, this woman is sexy! I just love watching her. 
RACHEL McADAMSLoved since: 2004 Fave performance: The Family Stone Rachel is a superstar, and yet, probably the most grounded person on the list. She could be your girl-next-door, and also comes across very natural onscreen. And she is capable of doing it all. Just look at Mean Girls vs. The Notebook. I like that Rachel took a step back from the limelight and doesn't over-expose herself. 
SARAH MICHELLE GELLARLoved since: 1997 Fave performance: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Cruel Intentions Dear Sarah. Sarah remains here out of loyalty. I think she is an amazing actress. She has great comedic timing, but can pull of the emotional scenes as well. When Sarah cries, I cry. Unfortunately, I haven't seen much of Sarah since Buffy ended as all her projects are kinda wasted on me (The Grudge? Ugh). However, she seems like a sweet person, intelligent, stylish and professional and that's reason enough to keep her on the list. 
SCARLETT JOHANSSONLoved since: 2001 Fave performance: Ghost World Scarlett is someone I've adored for a long time. Stunning, stylish, and smart, but very overexposed. It makes me long for the days when Scarlett did Ghost World, Eight Legged Freaks and The Perfect Score. The days when she wasn't on every magazine cover. But I remain to have a soft spot for her.
